  • CD Projekt (Jan 2004- )
    Projects:
    • The Witcher - tools/game/3D programmer, senior programmer since May 2005
      • As a senior programmer - responsible for leading the game engine team,
      • Ported existing toolset chain (Bioware's Aurora) to DirectX9,
      • Extended toolset's functionality,
      • Created Cutscene Editor,
      • Responsible for parts of 3D engine (dynamic soft shadows, visibility system (BSP/portals/antiportals), resource caching, Detail Preserving Simplification system, true volumetric fog etc) and game mechanics

  • CSP Mobile (May 2004-Feb 2005)
    External developer, porting J2ME games to various phone models (e.g. Nokia S40, S60, Sharp GX20, Sony Ericsson Z1010, Motorola T720, V525, Samsung E700).

    Part-time job, external developer, working on mobile games (J2ME, i-mode) on per-project basis.

    Game programmer, working on two GBA projects with two other coders (engine programmer, tool programmer). Responsible for most of the game related code (player control, AI, path-finding, interactions, event system, etc).

    In 2005 parts of my game engine has been used in GBA conversion of Pacman game.

Literature, I am big fan of fantasy, science-fiction and cyberpunk books. My favourite authors are J. R. R. Tolkien, Andrzej Sapkowski, Robin Hobb, Orson Scott Card, William Gibson, Terry Pratchett, Philip K. Dick, Neal Stephenson, M. Shirow.
